to be answered in about 500 words. All
questions carry equal marks.
Section—I
Q1.Examine the contemporary significance and contribution of the comparative method in Political Science. Lot-Il 2.1. 0.
Q2.Critically examine the main ideas of structural- functionalism with reference to Almond’s views.
Q3.Analyse the Gandhian perspectives of the modern state.
Q4.Define Gramsci’s concept of Civil Society.
Q5.Explain key arguments of MNC-enthusiasts vis-a-vis MNC-skeptics.
Section—II
Q6.Analyse the meaning of federalism and discuss its role in political and economic integration.
Q7.Define “Community identity’ and_ its implications on nation building.
