Q2.Evaluate the origin and orientations of system s approach. [ 2 ]
Q3.Discuss the concept of dependency as an explanatory tool for the phenomenon of under - development.
Q4.Critically analyse the evolutionary theory of the origin of state.
Q5.Write short notes on any two of the following in
(a) Dialectical Materialism
(b) Gramsci’s views on civil society
(c) Regional Integration
(d) Gandhi’s views on nationalism

Q6.Discuss federalism and its capacity to handle centre-state relations.
Q7.Explain the phenomenon of ethnic movements in the age of globalisation.
Q8.Examine the nature of totalitarian regimes and explain how they are different from the authoritarian regimes.
Q9.Differentiate between Weber’s theory of bureaucracy with Marxian views on bureaucracy. [ 3 ]
