Q2.Discuss the process of transformation in the sphere of politics in the post-1967 phase.
Q3.Describe the main theories of the political economy of development.
Q4.Write short notes on the following : 10+10
(a) Democracy as a form of good governance
(b) Nature of caste-inequalities in India
Q5.Evaluate the principles of sustainable development as the need of the hour.
Section—II
Q6.Analyse the poverty alleviation programme of India. What steps do you think India should adopt to improve the quality of life of its people ?
Q7.“Judiciary is the most effective organ for safeguarding the rights and interests of the citizens.” Comment.
