Note: There are two Sections—A and B. Attempt
five questions in all. Attempt at least two
questions from each Section. All questions
carry equal marks. The word limit for
10 marks question is 300 words and for
5 marks question it is 150 words.
Section—A
Q1.Write a note on ethnography and tourism.
Q2.Describe ecotourism and nature tourism with suitable examples.
Q3.Deliberate on the commodification of religious sites and nature parks with suitable examples.
Q4.Write short notes on any two of the following : 5+5
(a) Tourism and culture
(b) The host and guest
(c) Food and festivals

Q5.Discuss the revival and preservation projects being carried out in Bhimbetka, Madhya Pradesh.
Q6.Deliberate on some of the issues related to heritage and local culture.
Q7.What is Ecotourism ? Discuss community participation in Nagaland.
