Q3.Define excavation with reference to prehistoric archaeology. Discuss various methods of excavation.
Q4.Define Dating method. Discuss any two methods of relative dating.

(b) Ethnoarchaeology
(c) Archaeological site

Q7.Briefly examine the characteristic features of Indus Valley Civilization.
Q8.Briefly describe the tool types and techniques of upper palaeolithic culture.
Q9.Write short notes on any two of the following : 10+10
(a) Quaternary period
(b) Pluvials and Interpluvials
(c) Neolithic Culture
