Q1.Discuss the validity of the statement : “A secondary source is not as reliable as a primary source”. Also, discuss the various sources of secondary data. Point out the precautions to be taken while using such data.
Q2.What do you understand by measuring variability ? Discuss the importance of measuring variability for managerial decision-making. [ 3 ]
Q3.The means of two large samples of sizes 1000 and 2000 are 67.5 and 68.0 respectively. Test the equality of th e means of the two samples each with a standard deviation of 2.5. (Given the tabulated value of test statistic at required level of significance is 1.96).
Q4.A card is drawn from a pack of 52. What is the probability that it is a diamond or jack ? (Note t hat in a pack of cards there are 13 diamonds and 4 jacks).
