Section—A
Q1.Write short notes on any two of the following in about 200 words each : 2×10=20
(a) Can creative writing be taught ?
(b) Some suggestions for writing about women.
(c) What is new media ?
(d) Kinds of editing.
Q2.How are experimental stories different from traditional stories ? Explain in detail.
Q3.Readability is the main objective of a creative writer. What devices should an aspiring writer employ to ensure readability ? (500 words) 20 [ 3 ]
Q4.Technology has brought in many new concepts in publishing. What are these ?
Q5.Give a detailed answer. (500 words)
Q6.In a good piece of writing, what is more important : the opening, building a climax or the ending ? Give a reasoned answer.

Q7.Write a travel article aimed at young students about a historical site. Make the article informative as well as interesting.
Q8.Write an article on “The trials and tribulations of working women.” Keep in mind what you have learnt about avoiding gender bias and patronising attitudes. [ 4 ]
Q9.Write a short story which has either an anti- hero, or an anti -plot or remains open -ended. It can also have all three of these.
