Q3.Comment on Seneca‟s influence on Jacobean Tragedy.

Q6.“I am Duchess of Malfi still.” Critically comment on this assertion with reference to the qualities and experiences of this character. [ 3 ]
Q7.In „Mac Flecknoe‟ instea d of virulence Dryden uses good &humoured contempt as the satirical stance. Critically comment on this method of the satirist. Remember to give examples from the text.
Q8.Compare and contrast Milton‟s presentation of man and nature in “L‟Allegro” and “Il Pensoroso”.
Q9.What do you understand by „Mock -Heroic‟ ?
